Helen Young

Unit Instructor: Module 3

Helen Young, RYT 200 and CYKT, lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she teaches yoga to kids 5-14 years of age in a public school — 300 + kids a week and two adult classes a week to her colleagues. She also teaches a kids class at Yoga Source in Santa Fe.  She loves sharing yoga with kids to help them connect with their bodies in a fun way. She also loves giving them the tools to calm themselves — tools they can take with them throughout their entire lives. Kids and adults need yoga now, at this time, on our planet more than ever. When there is chaos outside, we need to be the peace in the world. It works from the inside out. “This is my dharma, my path.” Learn more about Helen.

Sue Beres

Unit Instructor for: Module 4

Sue’s passion is working collaboratively with others to lead and inspire the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of students who face so many modern-day challenges. This passion has been weaved into her daily experiences for more than thirty years in the education field. The degrees she holds in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Educational Leadership are just a small part of her foundation. It’s the actual experiences she’s had that have been the most rewarding and have shaped her beliefs that all children have beautiful hearts and lights to shine if we show them how.
