LaPorte, IN US
Sue’s passion is working collaboratively with others to lead and inspire the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of students who face so many modern-day challenges. This passion has been weaved into her daily experiences for more than thirty years in the education field. The degrees she holds in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Educational Leadership are just a small part of her foundation. It’s the actual experiences she’s had that have been the most rewarding and have shaped her beliefs that all children have beautiful hearts and lights to shine if we show them how. Sue has taught general and special education at all levels and is now an Educational Diagnostician, where she provides assessments and consultation for students in grades k-12. Sue combined her love of learning and movement to lead Girls on the Run for ten years with positions as Race Director, Coach, Board Member and LaPorte County Coordinator. In 2012 she started practicing yoga at Dancing Feet Yoga in New Buffalo and has since become a CYKT and completed her 200 Yoga Teacher Training with Don Wenig in May 2019.
